The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9500-RT guarantees an intuitive and effortless scanning experience. This Bluetooth-enabled scanner combines omnidirectional reading capabilities with outstanding optical performance. The PowerScan PBT9500-RT scanner is able to read any kind of bar code, regardless of orientation, from contact to over 1.0 m / 3.3 ft, depending on the bar code resolution. In addition, Datalogic’s latest decoding software guarantees snappy reading in any type of environment. The PBT9500-RT's handle shape, well-balanced weight and intuitive aiming system allows high first-pass reading rates while reducing unnatural wrist movements for improved ergonomics and user comfort.
With the durability of the renowned industrial PowerScan family, the PowerScan imager is now being introduced into the retail sector with a new series of Retail scanners. The PowerScan PBT9500-RT imager is a cordless scanner featuring Bluetooth® wireless technology. The rugged mechanics of the PowerScan Retail series guarantees reliable long-term operation in retail activities. Repeated shocks at the POS checkout or outdoor usage do not inhibit the scanner's performance or reliability, protecting the retailer's investment. The IP65 rating further guarantees protection from damages caused by exposure to moisture. This Bluetooth wireless technology model has a radio range (open air) that exceeds 90 m / 295 ft.
The PowerScan Retail 9500 series is the first handheld series of scanners on the market capable of reading digital watermarks including Digimarc® Barcodes. This new application significantly reduces time at the checkout. Additionally, product packaging that carries Digimarc® Barcodes can connect mobile-enabled shoppers with additional product information, special offers, recommendations, reviews, social networks and more.
