The Sigma DS2 supports both contact and contactless smart card encoding, including ISO 7816 T=0 and T=1 protocols for contact cards (Class A 5V, 3V, and 1.8V), and contactless standards such as ISO 14443 A/B, ISO 15693, MIFARE, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, HID Prox, iClass, iClass SE, and iClass Seos. These optional features allow you to encode multiple card types for diverse identity solutions.

We offer both color and monochrome ribbon options for the Sigma DS2. Color ribbons include YMCKT (500 images), YMCKT-KT (350 images), KTT (750 images), and specialty options like YMCKF-KT and YMCKL-KT (300 images each). Monochrome refill kits in black, white, blue, red, green, and metallic finishes deliver up to 1,500 images per ribbon, giving you flexibility to match your production volume and design requirements.

Yes, magnetic stripe encoding is available as an optional feature on the Sigma DS2. It supports ISO 7811 three-track encoding for both high- and low-coercivity cards, as well as JIS Type II single-track options, allowing you to add magnetic stripe functionality to your ID card issuance workflow.
