The PBE-2AC-400 operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency band, making it suitable for long-range wireless bridge applications where 5 GHz models may not be appropriate. It features an 18 dBi antenna gain for extended coverage.

The unit is powered via passive PoE (Power over Ethernet) using a 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter, with a supported voltage range of 20-26VDC. Maximum power consumption is 8.5W, making it energy-efficient for remote deployments.

The PBE-2AC-400 comes with a pole-mounting kit and features built-in mechanical tilt capability with ±20° of adjustment (20° uptilt and up to 20° downtilt). The antenna feed can be detached with a push button for easy field maintenance.

The unit is built for corrosion resistance with GEOMET-coated fasteners and a galvanized steel dish with powder-coat finish. The PBE-2AC-400 includes one 10/100 Ethernet port for network connectivity and can be centrally managed through Ubiquiti's controller software, which supports network mapping, device status monitoring, mass firmware upgrades, and task scheduling.
