The Brady FR22 Fixed UHF RFID Reader is a multi-functional device engineered for automated data gathering and sharing across a variety of platforms and applications. It’s an ideal solution for tasks such as asset tracking, inventory management, inspection labeling, RFID labeling, and temperature indicating labeling. The FR22 comes with built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LAN, USB, and GPIO, and even includes HDMI video output. It operates on a Linux system, which allows for edge computing. This means users can directly run plugins or applications on the FR22, which is powered by a quad-core A7 1.1GHz processor. With its 1GB RAM and 8GB flash storage, the FR22 can efficiently read up to 1000 tags per second, setting it apart from other readers in terms of performance. For added flexibility, the FR22 also supports an optional 16-port antenna multiplexer and a beam-forming antenna with 28 individual beams for directionality detection.
