Comments about Bogen M600:

After trying this amp 1 time it just reaffirms my confusion. I just don't understand Bogen. It's like they make an average product just hoping their clients are not intelligent enough to know they can use other brands at 1/2 the cost and actually get far better quality. So who buys this? The poor guy who thinks that in order to power his Bogen components that he has to also suffer through Bogen amplification and mixers. Tons of noise, power is somewhat questionable to what the rating specifies, two times the price of a comparable (wait... comparable would mean equal quality...but I can't find one at such poor quality level to properly compare... only SUPERIOR quality amps that are 1/2 the cost!), runs HOT, physically...you can cook your breakfast on this one in particular, and it's seldom in stock at Bogen distributors anyhow. I'd point out the model I use, but don't need to give a hand up to my competing installers. As long as they keep using Bogen, I keep winning my sales using the combinations of products I've used and had so many customers love over the years. Really? You mean you're supposed to be able to understand the lyrics? Oh! And when my clerks page someone, it's actually supposed to sound clear and intelligible? WOW! Come on people! Stop compromising! The only reason these overpriced low in products are out there is because you're not being offered something that sounds good from an outfit that knows what they're doing!
