The NetVanta 1224STR PoE Switch from ADTRAN is a standards-based, non-blocking Layer 2 switching solution available at a cost up to 50 percent less than competing switches. These devices are suitable for interconnecting LAN devices or for network segmentation in applications requiring Fast Ethernet. 1224STR PoE unique, all-in-one access platforms that combine switch, router, modular WAN interface, and firewall in a single 1U chassis with VPN. 1224STR PoE Provide 24-port Ethernet and Fast Ethernet switching, 1000Base-T/SFP Gigabit port are also included on the NetVanta 1224STR PoE for uplink and stacking requirements. An integral IP router provides cost-effective Internet access, corporate Frame Relay or point-to-point connectivity using routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and RIP.

The NetVanta 1224STR PoE platform also provide standards-based 802.3af PoE functionality for powering IP phones, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), or other devices requiring LAN power. LAN power. This product support up to 15.4 watts per port or 370 watts total (the maximum power allowed).
