The Adtran OPTI-MX module provides a DS3 or EC1 tributary payload from the OPTI-MX system. The signal is made available through one of the in and out BNC pairs on the OPTI-MX chassis.

This data sheet specifes the OPTI-6100 modules which have been tested and certifed compliant with IEEE Standard 1613 (published in 2003). IEEE Standard 1613- 2003 "IEEE Standard Environmental and Testing Requirements for Communications Networking Devices in Electric Power Substations" provided the technical requirements for this certifcation.
