With the abundance of receipt printers available today, the Star TSP100ECO stands out for its ease of use and ability to fit into any situation where a high quality, customizable receipt is need. You will find this printer in restaurants, retail stores, and even libraries due to its quick and silent printing. A big plus for this device is that it comes in a complete kit including a configuration software to embed images, watermarks, and even coupons on every receipt. Competing printers would require additional software to accomplish the same tasks. Combined with it being Energy Star compliant, the TS100ECO is the preferred unit for most receipt printing applications. Being a thermal printer though, high heat environments (kitchens and pizza delivery) are not ideal for this unit and the Star SP500 would be a better fit.
