Socket's Windows CE Control Panel applet lets you choose between modem or COM Port mode. The device includes a male DB-9 connector on a removable cable. It attaches modems, barcode scanners, magstripe readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras and other RS-232 serial devices. The Socket Serial I/O CF boasts the world's lowest power consumption for a plug-in serial adapter, extending the battery life of your PDA.
