Dual Serial I/O PC Card PCMCIA (PC Card Type II) card from Socket adds two high-speed RS-232 serial COM ports to your Windows mobile computer and maximizes your connectivity with speeds up to 921 Kbps. Dual Serial I/O PC Card provides simultaneous operation and independent configuration of each RS-232 port.The device includes a 12" detachable cable that splits into two cables with industry standard male DB-9 connectors. It enables the simultaneous connection of modems, barcode scanners, magstripe readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras or other RS-232 serial devices. Socket's HIS-3 chip allows for low power consumption and compatibility with a standard PC Card (PCMCIA) interface.
