Dual Serial I/O PC Card - Ruggedized PCMCIA (PC Card Type II) card from Socket adds two high-speed RS-232 serial COM ports to your Windows mobile computer and maximizes your connectivity with speeds up to 921 Kbps. Dual Serial I/O PC Card - Ruggedized provides simultaneous operation and independent configuration of each RS-232 port. A fully-integrated, ruggedized, fixed cable maintains solid contact in high vibration situations (such as those present in vehicle-mounted applications), while molded strain relief protects against lateral stress and seals out dust and moisture. The Dual Serial I/O PC Card - Ruggedized enables the simultaneous connection of modems, barcode scanners, magstripe readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras or other RS-232 serial devices. Socket's HIS-3 chip allows for low power consumption and compatibility with a standard PC Card (PCMCIA) interface.
