Panasonic's new network security camera, WV-NP472 featuring Super Dynamic II function is capable of capturing natural images in locations with harsh contrasts between light and dark like entryways, near windows etc.

Utilizing Panasonic's Super Dynamic II function WV-NP472 is capable of capturing natural images even from locations where harsh contrasts between light and dark prevail. Offering compatibility with both digital and analog networks, when connected to Ethernet network the new WV-NP472 from Panasonic offers monitoring through PCs. When connected to analog color composite signal using a coaxial cable you can fuse it into existing surveillance system. With input from a motion detector or external sensor, it can automatically store images and attach them to e-mail or control external devices to turn on lights or start surveillance recording. In addition, this color camera can also control external devices, turning on lighting or starting a surveillance recorder. It operates with only 0.8 lx (0.08 fc) of available light in color mode and a mere 0.1 Lx (0.01 fc) in black and white. Its Day/Night switching function automatically switches to black-and-white recording when available light is low. Thus with its sophisticated surveillance functions this network security camera can deliver 24-hour surveillance making this a choice for a wide range of settings, including banks, office buildings, and franchise outlets.
