ID Tech Omni Card Reader
The Omni reads up to three tracks of information with a single swipe in either direction.
The ID Tech Heavy Duty Omni magnetic stripe reader. In addition to rugged housing, the Omni has a metal base with tapped holes and rubber feet, and can be Velcro mounted. Multi-colored LED (not on TTL). The cable can exit at the end, side or straight down. Options include TTL, RS-232, keyboard wedge (AT/XT, PS/2, or Mac), Weigand or USB interface. About Credit Card Reader
Credit Card Reader (AKA, MSR, mag stripe/swipe readers) are essential for accepting credit or debit cards at the POS. They can be attached via keyboard wedge, serial port (rs-232) or USB, and are most often configured to read tracks one and two, or track two only. Though often referred to as credit card readers, mag stripe readers can read many cards with magnetic stripes, including some driver's licenses and ID cards. PC connected, keyboard and portable units available.
