With Honeywell’s Remote MasterMind for Mobility 2.5, IT administrators can perform virtually all of their device management functions from a single, centralized location including asset tracking, software distribution, configuration management, remote diagnostics and performance measurement. Asset tracking is made easy. The simple click of a button enables users to retrieve the serial number, model number and firmware version of any Remote MasterMind-enabled device. In addition, users may pull an enhanced set of device metrics related to battery life, on/off, key or touchpad presses, and other operational issues—either on-demand or on a predictive schedule—to improve device management and troubleshooting. Remote MasterMind for Mobility 2.5 also allows administrators to distribute software and manage the configurations of thousands of devices simultaneously, without the need for on-site visits or manual downloads. These functions can be managed from a single remote location and both software and configuration downloads can be scheduled to occur during off-peak hours to maximize device uptime.
