Digi Remote Power Manager Data Networking Model Overview
Digi's Remote Power Manager enables users to remotely power on/off devices, measure electrical load, monitor temperature and provide alerts when problems arise. It is available in both eight-port 1U rack-mountable and ten-port Zero U rack-mountable versions. It offers integration with Digi Passport or Digi CM will provide common interface for console and power management over Ethernet or dial-up.
Digi 70002004 Data Networking Overview
This Remote Power Manager is an intelligent power distribution unit for remote power management. When combined with Digi CM console servers, administrators can remotely reboot unresponsive servers or shut down unused devices, while also performing console management from a common web interface menu. Integration with select PortServer TS terminal servers and device servers also allows power management and device configuration from anywhere across the corporate LAN/WAN. This intelligent power distribution unit provides an easy solution for the supervisory control and management of attached electrical devices. When integrated with Digi CM or select PortServer TS solutions, this device provides an interface for users to configure alarms for 24/7 real-time notification of out-of-spec conditions including load and ambient temperature.
