Digi's ClassicBoard provides an array of ISA and PCI based options to meet your serial expansion needs. They feature 4 or 8-Port RS-232 and RS-422 models for cabling flexibility, delivering an optimum throughput up to 460.8 Kbps. Every signal is safeguarded by built-in surge protection, which ensures that electrical interference, power surges or brown-outs do not interfere with the system operation. Installation is easy because there are no DIP switches or jumpers to set. They offer an ideal solution for connecting cash registers, print receipt devices, scanners and other peripheral devices in retail POS systems.
