In-counter Barcode Scanners are a type of presentation scanner made to be mounted into a countertop. These scanners are most commonly found at grocery stores and self-checkout stations for their fast, aggressive scanning and options for an integrated scale to capture item weights. With a large scanning area, it is easy to quickly scan items without needing to orient or aim directly at the barcode.
